Job Summary
Provide health care services to students and staff in the school setting. Direct health care for injured or ill students, administer medications as required, conduct physical examinations and sight/hearing screenings, refer to community healthcare resources, maintain immunization and health records, and support school health programs. Collaborate with school administration and parents, communicate effectively, and ensure compliance with district health policies and safety protocols. Requires an Arizona LPN license, CPR and Hearing Testing Certifications, and the ability to handle multiple demands in a school environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Arizona LPN license
- Three (3) years of progressive and directly related nursing experience; public health nursing coursework preferred
- Current Arizona driver’s license
- CPR Certification
- Hearing Testing Certification
- Bilingual and/or sign language preferred
