Treat minor injuries and illnesses according to physician instructions, conduct cursory medical exams during students' first 24 hours on center, and administer specified medications and drugs. Clean and dress wounds, operate emergency equipment, and provide follow-up care as required. Monitor students on bed rest in the health and wellness center, take after-hours phone calls for symptoms not covered under management guidelines, and review assigned areas for contractual compliance. Enter required information in student health records and maintain them in an organized manner. Conduct designated health services special programs as assigned and assist physicians or mid-level providers when needed.
