Job Summary
Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care and information for clinic services, including monitoring patient flow, obtaining/documenting patient vitals, performing laboratory functions, scheduling procedures, and managing accounts. Requires proficiency in computer usage and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and insurance companies. Candidates must hold a valid LPN license or Medical Assistant certification and have current CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing with current licensure in Ohio
- OR must be a high school graduate with Medical Assistant certification
- Current CPR certification
- Valid State of Ohio motor vehicle operator's license and insurable under Firelands auto policy
- Proof of personal automobile liability insurance coverage upon request
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a medical office or urgent care setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to perform as a Medical Scribe
Additional Requirements
- Must possess a valid State of Ohio motor vehicle operator's license
