Job Summary
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN), you will prioritize resident service, delivering a comprehensive range of nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include admitting, transferring, and discharging residents, conducting daily rounds to assess residents’ physical and emotional status, administering medication, monitoring unlicensed staff, and maintaining confidentiality of resident information. Candidates must hold a current state licensure, demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, and possess basic computer skills or a willingness to learn.
Required Qualifications
- LVN / LPN with current licensure to practice in the state
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
- Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents
- Behavioral care / memory care experience
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
