Job Summary
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN), you will prioritize resident service and provide high-quality care under the direction of a registered nurse. Key responsibilities include admitting, transferring, and discharging residents, conducting daily rounds to observe residents' physical and emotional status, administering medications, monitoring care provided by unlicensed staff, and maintaining confidentiality of resident care information. Candidates must possess an LVN/LPN licensure, strong communication skills, and basic computer knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- LVN / LPN with current licensure to practice in the state
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
- Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents
- Behavioral care / memory care experience
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
