Job Summary
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN), deliver a full range of nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse, ensuring high-quality care for residents and their families. Responsibilities include admitting, transferring, and discharging residents, conducting daily rounds, administering medication, monitoring unlicensed staff care, and maintaining confidentiality of care information. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, with a current LVN/LPN license required.
Required Qualifications
- LVN / LPN with current licensure to practice in the state
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
- Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents
- Behavioral care / memory care experience
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
