Job Summary
Monitor resident care, administer medications, and take vitals as needed while communicating with families, physicians, and the Wellness Director. Assist with scheduling appointments, processing orders in EMAR, and answering call lights promptly to address resident needs. Participate in care planning, training oversight, and disaster drills while maintaining confidentiality and ensuring state compliance. Complete risk management events and report safety hazards immediately. Maintain duty until shift replacement arrives and attend all required meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- current state nursing license
- evidence of training in CPR
- Proficient in written and verbal English
- Competency with computers
- Demonstration of ability to establish long-term relationships
- Interest in working with the older adult population
- Must exhibit and promote a high level of customer service, hospitality, curiosity and friendliness towards all prospects, residents, visitors, employees and the overall community
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) to five (5) years of prior assisted living or senior care experience
