Job Summary
Assist in sick call screening and physical examinations under physician supervision; record patient histories and vital signs; collect samples and issue medications. Provide emergency health services, maintain examination rooms, and participate in continuing education. Required skills include excellent communication, customer service, organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing school, a license as a professional nurse, CPR certification, and two years of LVN experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Must possess a license to practice as a professional nurse
- Current CPR certification required
- Must have two (2) years of Licensed Vocational Nursing experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in providing health support services in a hospital, clinic, or infirmaries is highly desirable
- Experience working in an institutional or residential setting is preferred
