Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit, clinic or region. Perform clinical tasks such as assessing patient health problems and needs, taking vital signs, administering medications, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. You may advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, with some latitude over prioritization and timing, and under minimal direction. This role requires current unrestricted LPN/LVN licensure in Texas, is onsite at CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Portland, TX, and involves a 40-hour workweek with HireVue as part of the hiring process; you will participate in Humana’s TB screening program.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted licensure as an LPN or LVN in the state of Texas
- Excellent customer service
- Strong clinical background
- Strong sense of engagement to be a team player
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
- Working knowledge of clinical operations
