Job Summary
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN), you are responsible for delivering high-quality care to residents, under the direction of a registered nurse. The role involves admitting, transferring, and discharging residents, conducting daily rounds, administering medication, monitoring care provided by unlicensed staff, maintaining resident confidentiality, and promoting a safe environment. The position requires licensure to practice as an LVN/LPN and strong communication and organizational skills, along with a willingness to learn basic computer use.
Required Qualifications
- LVN / LPN with current licensure to practice in the state
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
- Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents
- Behavioral care / memory care experience
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
