Job Summary
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN), you will ensure resident service is prioritized and families receive the highest quality care under the direction of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include admitting and discharging residents, conducting daily rounds, medication administration, monitoring care provided by unlicensed staff, maintaining resident care information confidentiality, and promoting a culture of safety. Successful candidates will possess a current LVN/LPN license, strong communication and organizational skills, and a basic knowledge of computer use.
Required Qualifications
- LVN / LPN with current licensure to practice in the state
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
- Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents
- Behavioral care / memory care experience
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
