Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care under supervision in a healthcare/long-term care/assisted living facility. Responsibilities include administering medications, wound care, assisting with feeding/dressing/mobility, monitoring vital signs, following individualized care plans, documenting care and medication administration, reporting changes to supervising staff, collaborating with RNs/physicians, maintaining EMR/nursing documentation, and promoting a safe, compassionate environment. Strong clinical and communication skills, teamwork, and adherence to infection control protocols are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited LPN or LVN program
- Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
