Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in providing compassionate nursing care to individuals recovering from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Responsibilities include conducting nursing assessments, administering medications, monitoring patient health, and ensuring a therapeutic environment. The LPN collaborates with the treatment team, supports individualized nursing care plans, and maintains compliance with medical records. Candidates must have an active LPN license, experience in the healthcare field, and a commitment to trauma-informed care.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment (required).
- Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program (required).
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Desired Qualifications
- 1â2 years of experience in behavioral health, SUD treatment, psychiatric care, or residential/inpatient healthcare.
- Experience working in a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed setting.
