Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for part-time, night shift in long-term care. Provides professional nursing care to residents under supervision, administers medications/treatments, conducts assessments, documents outcomes, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to ensure resident safety and well-being. Requires LPN license and completion of an accredited practical nursing program; associate degree preferred. Must maintain competencies and certifications, and adhere to care plans and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
- Unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges
- Ability to obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications
- Experience with documenting resident interactions and care plans; familiarity with administering medications and treatments as ordered
- ND-specific note: if IV therapy/management is required, graduation from an AASPN program including IV therapy or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the ND Board of Nursing
