Job Summary
Part-time LPN providing professional nursing care in a long-term care setting under supervision, including medication administration, resident assessments, and care planning. Supports resident health, safety, and comfort; documents interactions and outcomes; collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team; maintains confidentiality and communicates with residents, families, and healthcare providers. Requires an LPN license, graduation from an accredited practical nursing program (associates degree preferred), and may require IV therapy skills per facility need. Sign-on bonus available; 24 hours per week with varying shifts in a not-for-profit senior-care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Current unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing board and/or multistate licensure privileges
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
- If IV therapy/management is required, graduation from an AASPN program with IV therapy included or IV therapy course approved by the state nursing board
- Experience or 400 hours of supervised clinical experience across the lifespan as part of the curriculum or as an LPN at another facility
