LPN Licensed Practical Nurse PRN Shifts -Macon County

Respond and intervene to all emergency situations while providing nursing services to patients within a correctional environment under the supervision of the Site Administrator/Coordinator. Conduct patient intake paperwork, administer medications following nursing standards and correctional regulations, and accurately document all patient information, nursing care, and interventions. Verify and obtain orders for patient medication, complete and document ordered treatments and collection ordered labs, and monitor for, report, and document changes in patient's condition. Assist provider with Chronic Care Clinic and sick call visits, ensure daily nursing tasks are completed within prescribed timeframes, and maintain patient confidentiality. Follow QCHC policies, procedures, and guidelines, assist with training and orientation of new personnel, and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
