Job Summary
PRN LPN provides professional nursing care in long-term care for residents under supervision of a RN/physician. Delivers care per plan, administers medications, documents interactions, and participates in interdisciplinary team with emphasis on resident education, safety and comfort. Requires licensure as an LPN and completion of an accredited practical nursing program. Evening shift from 2:15pm to 10:45pm in a not-for-profit long-term care setting with potential CEU and benefits eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Associates degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility
- IV therapy/management skills (if required by state) per Board requirements
