Job Summary
LPN in Long Term Care (PRN evenings, 2:15pm–10:45pm) provides professional nursing care to residents under supervision, administers medications and treatments, documents care outcomes, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to support residents’ health and well-being. Requires completion of an accredited practical nursing program and LPN licensure; degree/diploma details include an associate degree in practical nursing preferred. Eligible for a PRN shift with variable weekly hours in a not-for-profit long-term care facility in Battle Lake, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Possesses an unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- IV therapy/management skills may require additional coursework per North Dakota Board of Nursing if applicable
- Minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility or supervised clinical experience across lifespan as part of curriculum
- Completes required annual CEUs and competency training
