Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care in long-term care settings under supervision, administering medications and treatments, documenting resident interactions, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team. Must demonstrate competency in nursing principles, communicate clearly, maintain confidentiality, support resident education and self-care plans, and respond effectively to emergent situations. Requires completing a pre-licensure program with supervised clinical experience and maintaining current LPN licensure; additional CEUs and competencies are required annually; IV therapy skills may be required in North Dakota.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
- Current unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges
- Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements
- IV therapy/management skills requirements in North Dakota (if applicable)
