Job Summary
PRN - LPN providing professional nursing care in long-term care under supervision, performing nursing duties including medication administration, care planning, documentation, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team; requires licensure as LPN, completion of an accredited practical nursing program (associate degree preferred), ability to perform testing and respond to emergent situations, and ongoing competency development; evening shift (2:15pm-10:45pm) in a not-for-profit LTC facility in Battle Lake, MN; benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility
