Job Summary
PRN - LPN in Long-Term Care providing professional nursing care for residents under supervision, including medication administration, care planning, and documentation. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, an active LPN license, and the ability to work evenings (2:15pm–10:45pm). Emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, adherence to care plans, resident education, and maintaining confidentiality. This role supports a not-for-profit senior-care setting in Battle Lake, MN, with compensation in the $27–$36/hour range and a benefits package for eligible staff.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN
- Current unencumbered LPN license or multi-state licensure
- Minimum supervised clinical experience across lifespan or 400 hours as LPN
- Experience with administering medications or treatments as ordered
- Ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary care team
- CEU/compliance requirements
- Ability to work evenings (PRN) and adapt to varying weekly hours
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- IV therapy/management skills as applicable per North Dakota requirements
- Minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility or supervised clinical experience across life span
- Ability to obtain and maintain department-specific competencies and certifications
- Continuing education units (CEU) and competency training compliance
