Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision, administers medications or treatments as ordered, documents resident interactions and care outcomes, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team. Responsibilities include applying nursing principles across age groups, performing data testing to evaluate residents, recognizing problems and proposing solutions, and ensuring health, comfort, and safety of residents. Evening PRN shift from 2:15pm to 10:45pm in a not-for-profit senior care facility with Christian environment; includes compliance with care plans, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Current unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- CV/CEU and continuing education requirements as per department and facility
