Job Summary
PRN - LPN in Long Term Care providing professional nursing care to residents under supervision, including administering medications, performing testing to evaluate resident status, contributing to assessments, documenting interactions and outcomes, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team; ensures resident health and safety, supports care plans, and maintains confidentiality. Requires an LPN license and related nursing education; evenings shift (2:15pm–10:45pm) in a not-for-profit long-term care facility in Battle Lake, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board
- Possesses multi-state licensure privileges or is licensed in North Dakota with IV therapy competency as part of curriculum or IV therapy course approved by ND Board of Nursing (if IV therapy/management is required)
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
- Completion of required CEU and competency training annually
