Job Summary
PRN - LPN provides professional nursing care in long-term care under supervision, administering medications and treatments, assessing residents, documenting outcomes, and supporting an interdisciplinary care team. Shifts are evenings (2:15pm–10:45pm) in a not-for-profit senior care facility in Battle Lake, MN, with an emphasis on resident safety, confidentiality, and education, in a Christian environment. Licensure as an LPN and completion of an accredited practical nursing program are required, with opportunities for additional IV therapy training where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
- Experience or training in IV therapy/management (North Dakota-specific, if applicable)
- Current unencumbered LPN license with state nursing board
- Ability to obtain/maintain department-specific competencies and certifications
- Completion of CEU and ongoing competency requirements
- Ability to perform testing and administer medications as ordered
- Good documentation and communication skills
- Work within care plans and interdisciplinary team
