Job Summary
PRN - LPN provides professional nursing care in a long-term care setting under supervision, administers medications and treatments, conducts resident assessments, maintains documentation, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to ensure health, comfort, and safety of residents. Requires an accredited practical nursing program graduate with LPN licensure, relevant clinical experience, and knowledge of nursing principles and care plans. Evening shift (2:15pm–10:45pm) in a not-for-profit long-term care facility focused on quality care in a Christian environment. Strong communication, patient advocacy, and confidentiality skills essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Current unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
- Minimum of 400 hours of supervised clinical experience across the lifespan or equivalent
- IV therapy/management skills as applicable (North Dakota requirement)
- Completion of required CEU/annual continuing education and competency training
- Ability to administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Demonstrated ability to work with interdisciplinary care team
- Ability to communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to develop and implement a self-care plan with resident education
