Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision. Administer medications and treatments as ordered, perform clinical assessments, contribute to care plans, communicate with residents and families, document care activities, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Requires LPN licensure, completion of an accredited practical nursing program, and may involve IV therapy per ND requirements. Evening PRN shift (2:15pm–10:45pm) with on-site duties in Battle Lake, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Possess an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- IV therapy/management skills requirement in North Dakota: either graduation from a Board-approved AASPN program or IV Therapy course approved by ND Board of Nursing
- Minimum 400 hours of experience as LPN or supervised clinical experience across lifespan as part of curriculum
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Maintains required CEU and competency training as per department and facility
