Job Summary
Provide nursing services in a correctional environment under the supervision of the Site Administrator/Coordinator; administer medications and conduct sick calls; assist with Chronic Care Clinic and Provider sick calls; perform patient intake and document care; monitor and document changes in patient condition; maintain confidentiality; train and orient new personnel; adhere to nursing standards, correctional regulations, and facility policies; requires active LPN/LVN license and graduation from an accredited vocational/technical program; CPR current; 1 year of clinical LPN experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Accredited Vocational/Technical School
- Current and valid LPN or LVN license
- Current CPR
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience as an LPN in a health care setting
- One year of experience in a correctional health care setting is preferred
