LPN Licensed Practical Nurse PRN Day Shift -Barbour County

LPN provides nursing services in a correctional environment under the supervision of the Site Administrator/Coordinator and Physician, delivering care in accordance with nursing standards and state practice regulations. Responsibilities include patient intake, verifying medication orders, administering medications, conducting Sick Call clinics, documenting treatments and patient information, monitoring patient condition, maintaining confidentiality, assisting with training new personnel, and supporting providers in Chronic Care Clinic and sick call visits. Must ensure daily nursing tasks are completed within prescribed timeframes and adhere to facility policies; CPR certification and active LPN/LVN licensure required; minimum one year of clinical experience in a health care setting, with correctional health care experience preferred.
