Job Summary
Join BrightStar Care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a variety of private duty nursing and hospice settings, primarily on weekends and overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Unencumbered license as in the State of Ohio
- Minimum three (1) year of documented clinical experience in private duty, home care assistance and/or direct care experience
- Certified CPR/BLS and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Licensed driver with reliable and insured automobile
- Up-to-date vaccinations including COVID-19, Influenza, and Hepatitis B
Desired Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
