LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care plans as part of an interdisciplinary team while applying the nursing process to residents in their homes. Provide demonstration, supervision, and evaluation of care given by nurse aides, and orient new staff. Function independently or under the direct supervision of the RN in charge, performing clinical laboratory procedures and maintaining accurate written and oral communication. Participate in developing patient care policies and standards of nursing practice while advocating for patient rights. Monitor medical alert and fire alarm systems and maintain safe working habits. Requires a Pennsylvania LPN license, one year of experience, and geriatric experience preferred. Schedule is 7-3:30 every other weekend at $30-32/hr.
