Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care to residents with an emphasis on holistic wellness. Leads and supervises care staff (CNA and HHAs), assists in medication administration, conducts thorough resident assessments, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards. Maintains clinical quality assurance and upholds the company mission while delivering high-quality service to residents. Requires an LPN license and 2+ years of experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health, or hospital settings; familiarity with dementia care; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) and adaptability to learning new applications.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- At least 2 years’ experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting preferred
- Experience with residents with Alzheimer’s or other dementias
- Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office) and ability to learn new applications
