Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for part-time weekend support in a correctional health setting. Responsible for providing nursing services under physician supervision, including medication orders verification, sick calls, patient intake, administration of medications per nursing standards and correctional regulations, and documentation of care and labs. Assists with Chronic Care Clinic and Sick Call visits, maintains patient confidentiality, supports training and orientation of new personnel, and adheres to organizational policies. Requires LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of clinical experience; one year in a correctional setting preferred. Required Qualifications
- Current and valid LPN or LVN license
- Current CPR
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a health care setting as an LPN
- One year of experience in a correctional health care setting is preferred
- Successful completion of an Accredited Vocational/Technical School
