LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Part-Time E/O Weekend -Macon County

Under the supervision of the Site Administrator/Coordinator, provide nursing services to patients within a correctional environment by delivering care as directed by the Physician. Respond and intervene to all emergency situations, conduct patient intake paperwork, and verify medication orders. Administer medications following nursing standards, complete and document treatments, patient care, and ordered labs, and monitor for changes in patient conditions. Assist providers with chronic care clinics and sick calls, ensure daily tasks are completed within prescribed timeframes, and maintain patient confidentiality. One year of clinical experience as an LPN is required, with one year in a correctional setting preferred.
