Job Summary
Provide nursing services to patients in a correctional environment under the supervision of the Site Administrator/Coordinator and Physician, including administering medications, conducting Sick Call and intake paperwork, verifying orders, maintaining medication supplies, documenting treatments and patient information, assisting with Chronic Care Clinic and provider sick calls, monitoring patient status, ensuring confidentiality, and participating in training of new personnel while adhering to policies and guidelines. This role requires LPN/LVN licensure, CPR certification, and at least one year of clinical nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid LPN or LVN license
- Current CPR
- Successful completion of an Accredited Vocational/Technical School
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a health care setting as an LPN.
