Job Summary
Respond and intervene in all emergency situations. Conduct patient intake paperwork and verify medication orders. Administer medications following nursing standards and correctional regulations. Complete and document ordered treatments, patient care, and collection ordered labs. Monitor for, report, and document changes in patient's condition. Assist provider with Chronic Care Clinic and sick call visits. Ensure daily nursing tasks are completed within prescribed timeframes. Maintain patient confidentiality and assist with training of new personnel. Follow QCHC policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Accredited Vocational/Technical School
- Current and valid LPN or LVN license
- Current CPR
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a health care setting as an LPN
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience in a correctional health care setting
