Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care for residents in long-term care settings under supervision, including administering medications, contributing to care plans, performing nursing assessments, and communicating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams. The role involves travel to multiple locations within a 150-mile radius of the permanent address, with mileage reimbursement; requires 30+ hours per month and at least one weekend shift per month; includes shift differentials and a $5/hour premium on all hours worked as part of compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Minimum of 3 months experience in Long Term Care (6 months preferred)
- Current unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges
