Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care for residents in long term care, under supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Responsibilities include applying nursing principles, administering medications or treatments, assessing residents, documenting interactions and outcomes, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support resident health, safety, and well-being. Travel required to support multiple locations within a 150-mile radius of permanent address with mileage reimbursement and shift differentials (weekends and evenings/nights). Requires active LPN license, LTC experience, and ability to perform age-appropriate care and maintain confidentiality; includes related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
- Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Minimum of 3 months LTC experience (6 months preferred)
- Current unencumbered LPN license with state nursing board or multi-state licensure privileges
- Ability to perform IV therapy/management (ND-specific if required)
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
