Job Summary
Administer medication, manage storage carts, and ensure accurate counts for residents while maintaining psychosocial wellness under the Wellness Director's direction. Provide assistance with vital signs, weight monitoring, move-in/out procedures, and discharge planning as needed. Use sound nursing judgment to evaluate resident status changes and report concerns to leadership. This full-time day shift role (6am–6pm) includes nights and some weekends. Requires 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or geriatrics, with current unencumbered LPN licensure and up-to-date CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of nursing experience
- Experience with dementia residents
- Up to date first aid and CPR certification
- Current Unencumbered LPN license in the state
- Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adults
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
- Exceptional staff training and customer service skills
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, TB test and physical
