Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing services to patients within a correctional environment under the supervision of the Site Administrator/Coordinator, including medication administration, sick calls, patient intake, and documentation; assists with training new personnel and supports chronic care and provider sick calls, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to nursing standards and correctional regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid LPN or LVN license
- Successful completion of an Accredited Vocational/Technical School
- Current CPR
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a health care setting as an LPN.
- One year of experience in a correctional health care setting is preferred.
