Job Summary
Conduct resident rounds daily, reporting problems to the nursing supervisor and initiating corrective action immediately. Observe residents under treatment to identify progress and medication side-effects, while monitoring conditions including fluid intake and output. Compose patient charts, provide emotional and psychological support, and communicate with families regarding advice, comfort, and release instructions. Requires current New York LPN licensure, BLS certification, and at least one year in long-term care. Day, evening, and night shifts available with hourly pay ranging from $35.35 to $38.16 plus a 10% evening and night shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in the State of New York
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in a long-term care setting
- New graduate with the desire to learn
