Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time straight nights in a not-for-profit long-term care facility. Provides professional nursing care for residents under supervision, administers medications and treatments as ordered, performs testing to evaluate resident status, contributes to assessments and care plans, documents resident interactions and outcomes, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team. Requires effective communication, confidentiality, and ability to educate residents and families on prevention and treatment plans; ongoing education and competency training required. Shift: Full-time, nights; 36 hours weekly; sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Must have an unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure
- Completes required CEU and competency training
- Experience or supervised clinical experience across lifespan OR minimum 400 hours as LPN at another facility
