Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing professional nursing care for residents in long term care under supervision, administers medications/treatments, documents care, collaborates with interdisciplinary team, supports resident education and self-care, and maintains confidentiality; position is full-time with night/weekend shifts in Albion, NE in a not-for-profit senior-services facility; benefits include health/dental/vision, retirement plan, paid time off, continuing education, and other listed perks.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
- Current unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Associates degree in practical nursing preferred
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program with IV therapy in curriculum or IV Therapy course approved by ND Board of Nursing
- Minimum of 400 hours experience as LPN at another facility or supervised clinical experience across the lifespan
- Complete required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility
