Job Summary
Assist physician and RNs in the care of cancer patients by administering and preparing chemotherapy agents, performing patient assessments/triage, documenting in medical records, and providing patient/family education. Must hold an active Florida LPN license with IV therapy experience (30-hour IV certification or completion within 90 days), CPR/BLS certification, and be able to travel to clinic sites with a valid driver’s license. The role includes background and drug/nicotine screening and adherence to vaccination requirements. Required Qualifications
- Active Florida LPN license required
- Experience in IV therapy in clinic or hospital preferred
- Prior Oncology experience preferred
- 30 hour IV certification course or completion within 90 days
- Current CPR certification is required
- BLS required upon hire or within 30 days
- English fluency and strong communication skills
- Valid driver’s license to travel to clinics
- Background, drug, and nicotine screens required
- Vaccinations (influenza) as a condition of employment unless exempt
