Job Summary
LPN provides medications and treatments to residents, maintains detailed records, and delegates daily duties to Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides. Plays a pivotal role in resident care planning, evaluating physical and psychological needs, and ensuring compassionate, compliant care. Responsibilities include administering prescribed medications, transcribing physician orders, participating in care planning, supervising and guiding care staff, handling admissions and discharges, and maintaining confidentiality and adherence to policies. Evening, part-time position in Frederick, MD with benefits including PTO, tuition reimbursement, and licensure support.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid LPN license in the state you will be providing care.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist, and turn frequently throughout an eight-hour shift.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds in assisting co-workers with resident lifts, transfers, etc.
