Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term and transitional care settings under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Administer medications and treatments as ordered, perform testing to evaluate resident status, and recognize problems to recommend solutions during emergent situations. Ensure resident health, comfort, and safety while documenting interactions, outcomes, and care plans. Counsel residents and family members on prevention and treatment plans, and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams. Work various shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, with availability for two weekend shifts and holiday rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed LPN in Minnesota
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Must be available to work 6 shifts per months to include two weekend shifts and holiday rotation
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for holiday rotation
- Must be able to work various shifts (Days, Evenings and Nights)
- Must be able to work PRN shifts
- Must be able to work shifts from 6:00pm to 6:00am
