Job Summary
Assist the Unit/Shift Supervisor in planning, organizing, and directing nursing unit activities while identifying problems and developing correction plans. Check ill residents early in the shift, conduct periodic assessments, and report condition changes to the medical record. Assess resident care needs for Minimum Data Set protocols and interdisciplinary care plans, then administer and record prescribed medications and treatments. This role supports a faith-based, non-profit long-term care facility in the Berkshires with a mission-oriented environment. Full-time candidates may earn a $4,000 sign-on bonus, while all shifts are available for part-time or full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Nursing License - LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse in MA
- BLS Certification
- Technical/other training or better in Nursing
- LPN
- Must be able to supervise and delegate
