Job Summary
Monitor residents' well-being, assess physical and psychosocial needs, and report condition changes immediately. Assist residents with simple requests, manage medication programs, and document nursing interventions and resident responses. Provide care activities under the direction of the Care Services Director or Director of Nursing while maintaining environmental safety guidelines and regulatory compliance. Present new hire and ongoing skills training, support continuous improvement, and reduce costs through daily efficiencies. Work within the department and community team to ensure resident independence and satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN/LVN/LPN program
- Current active, unencumbered nursing license in the state of practice
- Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
Desired Qualifications
- One-year or more experience as a nurse in a senior care setting preferred
- Assisted living and/or dementia experience preferred
