LPN Inpatient - Progressive Care - CNRVMC - Nights

LPN Inpatient - Progressive Care at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center (CNRVMC) in Christiansburg, VA. Full-time night shift (7pm-7am) with every other weekend and rotating holidays. Provides practical nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, supports patient care delivery, treatment implementation, and care coordination. Collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care across the inpatient setting. Participates in the nursing process (data collection, planning, implementation, evaluation), contributes to interdisciplinary care plans, identifies patient and family education needs, administers prescribed medications, applies growth and development knowledge for age-appropriate care, advocates for patients, supports rights, and contributes to quality outcomes. Requires Virginia LPN licensure, graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, and AHA BLS-HCP. De-escalation training within 4 months of hire. Orientation and competency requirements must be completed.
