Job Summary
Educate patients and families on conditions, dietary changes, medication therapy, and exercise. Develop and continuously adapt patient care plans based on testing and evolving needs. Perform medication analysis and adjustments while maintaining knowledge of cardiac nursing theory and medical equipment. Collaborate with leadership to establish optimal care plans and participate in interdisciplinary meetings. Travel to other offices as required for patient care needs. Dispose of biohazardous materials following all policies. Maintain working knowledge of Microsoft Office, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree from an accredited College of Nursing
- Valid Arizona RN or LPN Nursing License
- Minimum of two (2) years of successful nursing practice
- Minimum of one (1) year of recent cardiology experience
- Experience using an Electronic Medical Record system (EMR)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Skills in the process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with others
- Ability to travel to other sites as needed
- May lift up to 25 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of recent cardiology experience in a hospital or office setting preferred
