Job Summary
Implement nursing care for assigned patients while assisting the RN in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Utilize advanced patient care skills following required education and training. Maintain Basic Life Support/CPR certification and hold a Florida Licensed Practical Nurse license. Complete thirty hours of IV certification and demonstrate basic computer application knowledge. Undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse as part of the system's safety commitment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing
- Meet the educational requirements as outlined by the Florida Board of Nursing
- Thirty (30) hour IV certification
- Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications
- BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
- FL Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
